Concrete, Site Drainage and Dirt Work

Diversified Contracting and Construction Company: Lone Star General Contracting is experienced in helping property developers and large multi-family management companies with erosion control, site moisture mitigation and grading and excavation. Many of our past projects have made use of concrete curbs and gutters in decorative ways to direct water. Of course as a general contractor and construction company we can help with any type of concrete work including foundations, parking lots, sidewalks and swimming pools. Let us help you managing water energy and run off at your property.

Erosion Control: Erosion control is the practice of preventing or controlling wind or water erosion in land development, construction and property management. Typically Lone Star General Contracting uses site grading, concrete placement, vegetation or rock to absorb some of the energy that leads to the problems associated with erosion. Lone Star General Contracting offers a strong combination of building expertise packaged with additional services such as erosion control and site drainage that gives customers added value.

Site Grading and Excavation: Lone Star General Contracting employees a wide variety of grading equipment as part of our site preparation and development. We sculpt the client's site from it original elevation to ensure erosion control. As always our emphasis is on maintaining our client's schedule and bringing the project in on time and on budget.

Concrete Contracting: We our your one stop source for your project's curbs, gutters, sidewalks, entrance aprons, dumpster pads, steps, stoops and of course slabs, foundations and lite weight second floor concrete applications. Since in many cases site concrete is highly visible, we emphasize not only its strength but also its appearance.

Asphalt Pavement: Although we typically place stone over our sub-grade in preparation for pavement, the actual installation of the asphalt is conducted by one of several subcontractors we have worked closely with over the past thirty years. We insist on proper installation to insure proper drainage, the elimination of troublesome "puddle" areas and the cosmetic appeal of the finished product to include the striping and signage.
